The existing ceiling was plaster glass and had severely sagged due to strapping failure related to age, this could not be restrapped due to lack of cavity space as it was a scillion roof.

We installed a new light weight steel ceiling grid to the existing bowed and twisted Jarrah joists. 10mm Gyprock lining was then glued and fixed to the steel grid, this was finished with Stegbar cornice. The ceiling was flushed and sanded ready for paint. Next our painter attended to seal and paint the new lounge ceiling.
