In 2021 Perth Ceiling Repair Specialists were engaged to replace cornices in wet areas and ceiling cracks.
The cornices were falling off the walls in the wet areas that were full height tiled due to poor original installation method. We removed these cornices and installed new cornice. The new cornice installed with cornice cement and was screwed to the timber joists and was also grouted from inside the ceiling cavity with fibreglass grouting.
The ceiling cracks were prepared, taped and flushed and fibre glass was used to back block these areas to prevent future movement.
All ceiling repairs were sanded ready for paint. Next our painter attended and painted all the repaired ceilings.
