In 2021 Perth Ceiling Repair Specialists were engaged to replace a collapsing lounge ceiling. The original ceiling was plaster glass and had collapsed due to strapping failure related to age, this ceiling was pulled down and disposed of.
A new light weight steel ceiling grid was installed and level out because the existing Jarrah joists were bowed and twisted. Next R4.1 insulation were installed into to ceiling cavity. Then new 10mm Gyprock lining and 75mm cove cornice was installed, flushed and sanded ready for paint. Our painter then attended to seal and paint the new ceiling and cornice.
