In 2022 Perth Ceiling Repair Specialists were engaged to replace a lounge ceiling in White Gum Valley, Perth.
The existing was plaster glass and had severely sagged due to strapping failure related to age, this ceiling was pulled down and disposed of. A new light weight steel ceiling grid was installed to level put the existing bowed and twisted Jarrah joists. We installed R4.0 insulation batts to the ceiling cavity. Next new Gyprock lining and Belair cornice was installed, flushed and sanded ready for paint. Lastly our painter attended to seal and paint the new lounge ceiling.
