The ceiling was plaster glass and had sagged due to the fibrous strapping becoming brittle with age and breaking off causing the ceiling to sag and crack. The ceiling was propped back up to the timber joists and new fibreglass strapping was installed from inside the ceiling cavity.
The cracks were then flushed and sanded ready for paint. Next our painter attended to paint the repaired ceiling.
